Effective August 1, 2026
Privacy, kept simple.
This release is designed as a static informational website. Its diagnostic selector works entirely on the page and does not ask for personal information.
On-page diagnostic
The diagnostic selector uses ordinary on-page form controls and does not submit your selected answer to a server. The site does not include an account system, contact form, advertising script, or fingerprinting library.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 with measurement ID G-ZFP5KJ5HP9 to understand aggregate visits and improve the guides. Google Analytics may process information such as pages viewed, referral source, approximate location, device and browser characteristics, and interaction timing.
Analytics storage is denied by default. The privacy banner lets you allow or reject optional analytics, and your choice is kept in your browser's local storage under aboutBlankAnalyticsConsent. You can withdraw or change that choice at any time with Privacy settings in the footer. When analytics storage is denied, the Google tag is instructed not to read or write analytics cookies; it may still send consent-aware, cookieless measurements.
Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services, along with its Privacy Policy and Google Analytics data collection.
Hosting logs
The hosting provider may process standard technical logs such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser user agent, and error information to deliver and secure the site. Retention and jurisdiction depend on the hosting provider selected by the site owner.
External links
The site links to standards bodies, browser source repositories, and official support documentation. Opening those links sends a normal request to the destination, which applies its own privacy policy. The site does not control those services.
If advertising or other services are added
This statement must be updated before adding advertising, affiliate tracking, newsletter forms, or other data collection. Where law requires it, users must receive an appropriate notice and consent choice. Advertising should not be positioned to resemble diagnostic controls or download buttons.
Sensitive information
Do not send passwords, one-time codes, payment data, private callback URLs, or full diagnostic screenshots through any future feedback channel. Browser-policy and support pages can reveal usernames, file paths, identifiers, and organization details.
Changes
Material changes should receive a new effective date and a plain-language description. Return to the editorial method or the main guide.
